A daily dose of God’s touch in a minute…

Draw your breakthrough

Young Moses was settled in the luxury of Pharaoh’s palace. When he noticed that his brethren, as slaves in Egypt were harassed, Moses tried to hit the Egyptian who fell and died. When the thing was known to others, Moses fled to the wilderness.

However, years later, God appeared to him through the burning bush. So God did not forget Moses’ desire to help the Hebrews.

In his old age, Moses was sent to Egypt to deliver the Hebrews from slavery. The thing that Moses could not do by his own strength in his young age, God helped him to do. Despite his age, God made Moses an excellent leader.

How do we get a breakthrough from God?

When we are close to Jesus we do not plead with him nor shed tears for a breakthrough. we just draw the breakthrough from him.

The Bible gives us so many examples of people who didn’t plead but drew their breakthrough from Jesus.

I love this “When we are close to Jesus we do not plead with him nor shed tears for a breakthrough. we just draw the breakthrough from him.”… perhaps, we beg or assume our tears will move God because we have a skewed view of our heavenly father. If there is anyone who wants the best for us, that someone is God. I love that your post reminds us to just receive what God has already made available. We are not orphans, we are children loved and cared for by our heavenly father.♥️

Micah 2:13: “One that breaketh through is gone up before them: they have broken forth, and have passed on to the gate, and are gone out by it; and their king passeth on before them, and Jehovah at the head of them”.

The Lord Jesus has broken through to allow us to break through!

I like the way you said it that we should draw the breakthrough from Jesus. Only through Him we can get deliverance. Blessings.

I’m glad you liked that part of the post which was the key element that I felt needed to be conveyed. If we can learn how to draw from the Anointing we can receive answers for all our needs. Thank you for your sharing your comment Beverly. It means a lot and encourages me to continue.

Oh Sophia, this was a wonderful video. You’ve given such great examples too about how the Lord is able to intervene once we put off the frustrations and annoyances and turn to Him who is the only One who can deliver us and give us strength. His response is to our faith, not the temper tantrums we may throw. By the way, congrats to your son 🥳

That is so true being frustrated cannot help us. All we need is to apply ourselves to prayer and the word of God.

Absolutely. In my life, it is a combination of earnest prayer and reading and meditating the Word of God that has been my strength. Thank you for your comment again Maurice.

Only in Jesus Christ we can have our breakthroughs. Thank God for your good instruction to the stranger. If everyone is speaking negative about the son and she do the same then who will it be that will oppose the negative words spoken. The Bible says we shall have what we say. I am trusting God for many breakthroughs. Very good words and congratulations on your son’s achievement. The Lord Jesus Christ bless you all and your YouTube channel

I had never thought of it before: God could have stopped Moses from killing the Egyptian, then Moses would not have needed to find safety in Midian. He could have become leader of the Hebrew nation during the prime of life instead of in his senior years. But God chose to wait until Moses was 80-years old man, reduced from prince to shepherd no less. You are right, Sophia: God is the one who achieved the unthinkable and made old Moses into an excellent leader. That should raise hope in all of our hearts! Our God is an AWESOME God!

God can take the discarded, the tainted, the soiled, the worthless and turn them into a prized possession. It is my experience that God chooses the underdogs, the written off, the empty, hurting etc and infuses their life with beauty and purpose. We just need to yield to Him. He knows our frame.

I also believes the same. Be truthful to the core so that there is no need to put our demand list before God and convince him with that. Whatever we do, good or bad, god will reward us accordingly. Great read dear Sophia. Thanks for introducing this beautiful blog page. Happy to follow this write-ups of yours.🥰💓❤️

This account also reminds me of a man who spent 27 years in prison before becoming in his senior age the first Black President of South Africa during the Aparteid Regime – of course I’m talking about the late Nelson Mandela – the Moses of South Africa if you please, who begun the process of ending the historical Aparteid Regime in the country! 😃🙏
