My Question to Jesus

For a long time, I was troubled over a problem.

I was praying for at least three years and frankly, I worried even while praying.

Through the Gospels, one aspect of Jesus that stood out was His competency in  problem solving.

Day to day, human problems that people faced and struggled with until Jesus intervened.

There was something about His re-assuring words, His teaching, His guidance, and His calming presence, that also had a fundamental problem-solving ability.

He displayed two distinct features, clarity on one hand, mystery on the other. This was Jesus’ personality that aroused intrigue and curiosity.

‘When will it happen? What will be the sign? Why were we unable to do it?’, many, including His disciples were consistently found questioning.

He drew awe as he commanded even the storm.

‘Who is this? By what authority does he do it?’, they wondered.  

He astonished the unbelieving intellectuals and people in high positions ‘Isn’t he the carpenter’s son?’ Where did this man get such wisdom from?’

And yet, there were those who were  drawn to Him, not only by His wisdom but by His Love and compassion. The blind. The lame. The sick. The demon possessed. They all saw hope as He healed and delivered them all, demonstrating the power of God everywhere He went.

The Bible says, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, that is why there is still a divine aura about the teachings of Jesus. His Name continues to  bring  healing and His Word is accompanied by signs, wonders and  revelations.

Even today, there is awe and intrigue about Jesus. People still have questions about Jesus.

I mentioned in the beginning of this blog that I worried over something for about three years. Let me share with you the good news that last month I found a way out of that persistent and long drawn issue. When the solution came, it was so simple that it seemed pointless for me to have fretted over it so much and for so long.

All I did was ask Jesus to help me and He sorted it out for me at the right time. I say right time because it was exactly when I desperately needed to see the solution.

I couldn’t help but wonder ‘Dear Jesus, how do you it?’

May I suggest, try stretching your faith a little more and trust Jesus. He is well able and willing to send you help right on time and fix your problem.

Once that happens, I am sure you too will wonder, ‘Dear Jesus, how do you do it?’
