A daily dose of God’s touch in a minute…

“Holy Spirit? What’s in it for me?”

Power from up above!

Power from up above!

But the Counsellor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
Daniel 6:3 King James 2000 Bible (©2003)

Jesus mentioned the Holy spirit as the counsellor. He told his disciples that the Holy spirit will teach all things and remind of all that Jesus said including the promises. No wonder when we are faced with situations we often get reminded about a scripture that seems so apt to our current situation.

What a privilege to be reminded or taught by the Holy spirit about the things and promises of God.

Daniel was one of those men who was taught of the Holy spirit.

Daniel was a captive in the king’s palace.

It so happened that the king was greatly troubled and the Queen comforted the king by recommending Daniel. The Queen even went ahead and mentioned Daniel as the man who has the spirit and wisdom of the gods.

So this same Daniel was put to work.

Daniel did a great job with every assignment he was entrusted with.

Daniel did not choose an elaborate diet in the king’s palace yet his face glowed which probably meant that he enjoyed good health.

His Boss had the most cumbersome assignments for him but each time it happened, Daniel sought counsel from high above and triumphed with success.

When Daniel’s colleagues tried to set a trap for him he escaped the trap .

Daniel found favour with his Boss.

Daniel got promotions.
